 To
promote unique and the comprehensive network technology and knowledge to our
regional channel in Asia Pacific region, NetMon was invited to
participate in the 3rd Annual SecurAsia Congress hold in Kuala Lumpur
Convention Centre, Malaysia during 25th & 26th March 2009,
NetMon showcased
our latest solutions of Hillstone Network Security and Vidyo Video Conferencing
during the two days conference.
This conference
was focusing on
protecting the critical assets
of the organisation from attack, taking the holistic view that the only way to
ensure the security of an organisation had through the combined effort of
training, using the right tools and the creation of the right policies to
prevent, mitigate and should the worst occur, recover from an attack.

Best Practices of Managing IT Facilities Seminar for Education Bureau 2008

Hong Kong has made much progress in promotion of IT in Education in the past 10
years. To move further ahead, the Government proposed in the Third IT in
Education Strategy to assist schools to draw up and implement school-based IT in
education development plans so that school leaders can better understand their
current situation, prioritize initiatives and allocate resources more
effectively. After NetMon Information Systems Ltd. was invited to conduct
the seminar of Best Practices of Managing IT Facilities on 18 Dec 2008 to share
the vital, up-to-date IT security knowledge and skills.

 In this cyber world, businesses
are constantly under attack on their digital belongings. Security breaches are
both detrimental to customer relations and can be extremely damaging to a
company's finances……
In response to the current Network Security problems, Cathay Pacific instituted
the IT Risk and Security Awareness Campaign regularly in the past few years to
educate the employees how to exercise good judgment and processes to safeguard
customer sensitive information properly. NetMon was being
invited by Cathay Pacific Airways as their guest speaker on "Secure your
e-belonging in the Cyber World!” in their “IT Risk and Security Awareness"
Campaign on 11 June 2008.

 NetMon won the 'Caring Company' logo for 2007-08
and 2008/09 from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) for two
consecutive years. The 'Caring Company' scheme aims to encourage good corporate citizenship, staff morale and enhance company image among Hong Kong companies, so as to foster a harmonious community. By facilitating partnerships between the business and social welfare sectors, the scheme seeks to cultivate a caring spirit within the community. POLYNET IT Security Symposium
